Introduction

The Award in Management Coaching and Mentoring is designed for people who are either in a management role or who are considering a move into such a role, and wish to learn about the practice of management coaching and mentoring.

If you want the edge in management or you need to boost your career prospects, the Award in Management Coaching and Mentoring is ideal for you.

Most importantly, the course is taught by professional business managers, for professional and aspiring business managers.

Course Outline

The course covers the following key areas:

Understanding the concept and purpose of management coaching and mentoring
Be able to determine the use of management coaching and mentoring as a tool in human resource development
Understanding the relationship between coaching and mentoring and organisational objectives

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

The course is delivered on a flexible learning basis and runs throughout the year. There are also a series of optional tutorials available as either 2 one day workshops or as 4 evening workshops.

Individuals who successfully complete this course can progress to the Level 7 Introductory Executive Diploma in Management.

Costs

The Introductory Certificate in Team Leading costs £245 for the course, including all tuition, course materials and the Chartered Management Institute Registration and Examination fees.

Discounts of up to £45 are also available for students, the unemployed and those on low incomes.
