Introduction
The Introductory Certificate in Business Start-up is designed for the entrepreneur who is about to launch a new business or who has recently done so.
This course is ideal if you have always thought about running your own business but never knew how to get things started or if you have recently set up your own business but want help to get things going.
Most importantly, the course is taught by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.
Course Outline
The course covers the following key areas:
- Preparing a business development plan
- Identifying funding options and sources of professional advice and support for new business
- Setting business objectives and identifying the resources required
- Identifying customer needs
- Recruiting, selecting and developing staff
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, apart from a passion to run your own successful business.
The course is delivered on a flexible learning basis and runs throughout the year. There are also a series of optional tutorials available as either 2 one day workshops or as 4 evening workshops.
Individuals who successfully complete the Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Business Start-up can progress to the Level 5 Diploma in Business Development.
Costs
The Introductory Certificate in Team Leading costs £245 for the course, including all tuition, course materials and the Chartered Management Institute Registration and Examination fees.
Discounts of up to £45 are also available for students, the unemployed and those on low incomes.
